2-Day Teacher Assistant (Preschool)
This position will be Tuesday and Thursday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM for the duration of the school year. Teacher Assistants at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School partner with the classroom teacher and together form a team responsible for the academic, social, and spiritual growth of all the students in their classroom. Teacher Assistants learn the curriculum and are able to teach individual students or small groups of students as directed by the teacher. Part-Time After Care Teaching Assistant (Preschool)
After Care Teaching Assistants and Aides at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School partner with the After Care Teacher and staff. This position works after the Preschool day until 5:30 PM, creating fun experiences that support the social and spiritual growth of all the students in the program. After Care Closer (Preschool)
The After Care Closer at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School partners with the aftercare staff. This position works after the preschool day 3:15 PM0 - 5:45 PM creating fun experiences that support the social, and spiritual growth of all the students in the program. We are looking for adults who enjoy making a positive difference in the lives of children, who like a regular weekday work schedule, and enjoy sharing days with children and shaping their faith. Teacher Assistant (Elementary School)
Teacher Assistants at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School partner with the classroom teacher and together form a team responsible for the academic, social, and spiritual growth of all the students in their classroom. Teacher Assistants learn the curriculum and are able to teach individual students or small groups of students. Teacher Assistants are part of team meetings to understand individual student needs and ensure accommodations are made in the classroom. Qualifications:
Candidates must be MN Rule 3 Assistant Teacher qualified or MN Rule 3 Teacher qualified
Positive disposition and enjoyment in teaching young children.
Able to be a credible witness to the Catholic faith
Complete background check, code of conduct, and VIRTUS training.
Willing to get CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of employment.
