Learning Specialists
Your children will benefit from expanding their learning and interests by participating in the specialist classes, just like the "big kids" at the school.
ART - Your child will delight in exploring a variety of art mediums to engage their creativity.
SPANISH - Exposing young children to a second language helps build their brain power! Learning songs and about other cultures creates a wider view of the world.
LIBRARY - Literature will come to life with our librarian reading and some fun puppets helping to tell the stories.
MUSIC - Music helps to expand a child's learning in so many ways. Your child will be singing, moving and learning the language of music. Watching your child at their first Christmas concert will be a memory for the ages.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION (4 and 5 YO) - Children love to be active and movement in Physical Education is a fantastic way to help their large muscle coordination, understanding their physical bubble space and working together with their friends to bounce balls on the parachute is always a thrill.
Classroom Spaces
Our classroom spaces are specially designed with your child's development and growth in mind. Individual cubbies help them to learn to care for their clothing, footwear and backpacks. Manipulatives, books, dramatic play and other materials will support various learning centers along with a Catholic corner for specially designed items that support faith filled learning.
Our large muscle spaces will be used to support opportunities to play inside on cold and rainy days. The S.M.A.R.T. Room (Stimulating Maturity through Accelerated Readiness Training) provides opportunities to build visual acuity, core strength and instill brain based learning at the same time. This area will also have sensory materials to satisfy your child's tactile needs.
The outdoor play space has been created for 3 - 5 year olds and will support their need to run, jump and play. A paved track for tricycles, play house, slides and other active play areas along with a large shade space will make outdoor time enjoyable and filled with fun.
